What would be possible if you felt utterly safe and free to live from the core of who you are?
After working with thousands of women and families from around the world, I find my clients universally navigating three things that I believe you fundamentally need to thrive.
- When you release the cultural conditioning of "who you should be" and journey back home to who you truly are, you will find yourself empowered to live in a sacred manner, where joy and truth emanate from you. When you're living in this radiant space of your own truth, you naturally and effortlessly inspire others to connect to their authentic core, too.
- In order to come home, you must first remember that you are safe, you belong, and you are here to be fully expressed, just like any other living thing on earth. The acorn is here to become the mighty oak; You are here to become the brightest and mightiest version of YOU.
- When you first heal what's holding you back, you become the medicine that our planet needs to heal and thrive.
Together, let's look at the whole of your life and help you achieve wild healing, unstoppable joy, and a deep, abiding connection to your own divinity.
The more we are each activated in our full potential, the greater opportunity we have to collectively shape our world through the lens of love, inclusion, stewardship, and peace.
I believe we've been given the collective assignment and great responsibility to cultivate a more Nourished Home for our people and planet in the 21st century. From the world we create for our children to the ways we're relating in community and environment; the time is now.

I can't believe we're already onto our fourth From Hectic to Harmonious Holiday Interview! What I'm absorbing from all of this so far is that although we all have different life experiences and traditions we all want the same kinds of experiences and connection with the ones we love. Thank you for joining me in this series. I'd love to have you join me next week in our 28-day holiday challenge, too. If you've been enjoying these interviews, the journey I'm offering next month is for you, too.
I'm excited to introduce you to Amara Wagner, founder of Amara Wellness, today!
Welcome to day three of the From Hectic to Harmonious Holiday Interview Series. I'm so, so happy to introduce you to one of my best friends, Olivia Gatti, of Click Click Love. If you enjoy the look and feel of The Nourished Home website, you can thank Olivia for providing the majority of gorgeous photos gracing these pages.
One of Olivia's great gifts is her ability to capture the beauty, serenity, joy, magic, and depth of every day moments. Much of her photography captures what I so deeply value: family, connection, simplicity, beauty... The work of every day love and the choice to see the extraordinary in the ordinary...
So you know what I'm going to do next... Ask you to join me and hundreds of other families in the SIMPLE, TRUE joys of the season. If you're on the fence, today's the day.
Welcome to day two of the From Hectic to Harmonious Holiday Interview Series! Were you as inspired by Sarah's interview yesterday as I was? If you're feeling ready to slow down, simplify, and connect to the joys of the season, don't forget to...
Okay, let's get going with our second interview in the series! I'm so excited to introduce you to my dear friend and colleague, Katie Madden, Registered Nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, of Growing With The Flow.
I first met Katie when I was pregnant with Laila (my first babe). Katie was teaching a class for expecting parents at The Birth Center in Wilmington, Delaware, where Laila was born. This was the first time I experienced Katie's charisma, wit, and lifesaving knowledge for new parents... And I've adored her ever since.
I'm delighted to welcome you to my From Hectic to Harmonious Holiday Interview Series! During this Thanksgiving week, I invite you to reflect on all you're grateful for. I also invite you to imagine what you want to experience with your family this holiday season.
I've interviewed a group of wonderful women who I respect and adore. Each of them do work, in a number of different ways, to make the lives of women, children, and families more beautiful, healthy, rich, joyful... and so much more. I can't wait for you to meet all of them here!
And each of them are offering you something fabulous at the end of their interviews so read carefully!
Before I introduce a new project I'm working on, I want to share with you how my two girls are grounding me after the craziness of these past few months.
After I defended my dissertation I took stock of WHAT was going on in my life now that this huge, all-consuming project was over (well, it's almost officially over... Getting approval from the chair and dean right now... ALMOST over!!!!!).
And the most important thing in front of me was this:
I'm thrilled to officially welcome all of the old (and new!) friends of The Nourished Home to our new blog!
My beautiful team has lovingly put my past newsletters and articles into this blog so that you can find all of my writing in one place.
We get to interact with each other here, so please take a look at the bottom of this post to answer some questions about how you want to use this community space.
Okay, I've been quiet for the past few weeks and I have so much to share with you today I feel like I could burst!
I'm over the moon excited to tell you that I just handed in the final chapters of my dissertation to my committee!
Trust me when I tell you that I often thought this day would never come. But it has.
I have more work ahead of me but I'm in the home stretch. I'm waiting for edits from my committee and I will have my PhD in a couple of short months.
I can't wait to tell you what this journey has really been like... But not until it's over.
I hope you had a relaxing and sweet weekend!

So, I promised I'd send you my third step to moving from fear to graceful action in your life (and I promise these steps apply to EVERYTHING from birthing your baby, to making a big parenting decision, to investing in yourself, to running a business, to singing a song, ALL THINGS).
Here it is:
FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY.
