She adores helping purpose-driven Women and Mamas from around the globe do their greatest work at home, with their families, and out in the world.
Laura combines her years of working, researching & teaching in Human Development & Family Studies with her:
(1) transformational holistic family lifestyle/wellness coaching, and
(2) off-the-beaten-path soulful lifestyle/business coaching for creative mission-driven women
to help Mamas on a Mission design their Nourished Homes AND choose a path of joyful, soul-stirring adventure (the stuff that makes life worth living).
Laura will help you:
(1) release fear and tap into your feminine power to birth what you're meant to bring into the world (this includes your babies AND the creative/holistic/soulful work you feel called to create and birth into being on this planet),
(2) embrace the support & mindset you need to thrive through Mamahood, work, and life,
(3) stay connected to your passions & desires so your whole being is ALIVE and you can be the grounded, calm, present Mama you really are, and
(4) connect to your core values so you know exactly who you are AND can confidently create the home life your children need to become their true and best selves (HINT: they learn this by having parents who are their true and best selves).

Here's what she has to say:
Outside of my work, I am...
... A woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, singer/songwriter, wanderer through the woods (oh, the inspiration I get there!), dancer, nature-lover, yogini, world traveler, fairy, ship captain, or unicorn, depending on where my girls' world of make-believe brings us, writer, lover of holidays and beautiful family traditions, spiritual seeker, foodie (my husband and I are in this one together), photographer, lover of great movies and TV series (after my girls are asleep ;), late night soul-searching chatterbox with my besties, seeker of adventure and joy...
I'm a lot of things. And so are you.
I want you to know that when you become a Mom that you DO NOT have to put all other parts of who you are on the back burner.
In fact, through setting yourself free to be WHO YOU ARE, you also let your children know that they are free to grow into their true and best selves.
Bottom line: As Women and Mamas, we have a lot of responsibilities, right?
I work hard to nourish the various roles I fulfill in my life with my own needs for self-care, time for my passions, those things that make me FEEL ALIVE, and time to sit quietly with myself and just be.
I strive, with impressive imperfection, to approach it all with joy and love.
I have two young girls who have broadened and deepened my life's journey in ways I could not have imagined before they were here. Laila was born in 2007 at The Birth Center in Wilmington, Delaware and Flannery was born in 2010 at our home in Maine. Going through the experience of pregnancy and natural birth was deeply empowering for me and my husband. I am so grateful for the peaceful beginnings both of my daughter's experienced.
My experiences with pregnancy and birth have made me passionate about connecting women (and their partners!) to their powerful bodies, brilliant minds, and peaceful spirits, three primal parts of ourselves that we must tap into as we journey towards birthing our babies.
Pregnancy and birth are a great lesson in how to surrender to and navigate through the mysteries in life.
We never know exactly how it is all going to play out, but we can approach birth and life from our centers, from that inner place of strength and knowing.
And this brings me to what I believe is possible for our children, our families, and ourselves.
I believe that family life is a great adventure that can and should be joyful and soul-stirring...
... and the adventure begins when we give ourselves permission to stop pretending to be the Moms we think we should be and embrace the Women we really are.
When I let go of all of the "shoulds" swirling around in my head about parenting, I connected to my core values and found tremendous wisdom, intuition, and strength to be who I REALLY AM and create the home environment that is most nurturing for my whole family.
I want this freedom, ease, and confidence for you, too.
When you live, work, AND parent grounded in your core values and desires, you parent with calm confidence and your kids feel safe to do the work of childhood: play, be at ease, and slowly, in their own time, become who they're meant to be.
What sweet freedom for us all.
I am so happy to support you through this great adventure we call parenthood.
Let me leave you with this:
I believe in my bones that you are a Mama on a mission.
You are here to do great work and do your part in making this planet a better place for the world's children and future generations to come.
Whether you feel called to do your life's work as a full-time stay-at-home-Mom or a holistic/creative/intuitive entrepreneur (or some combination of all of the above!), you are carving your own path in this world.
What you do matters.
Your children, your partner, your community, the whole world needs you to step into who you really are and do your best work while you're here.
I'm here to help you lead a purpose-driven, soul-stirring, heart-opening, consciousness-raising life where your work as a Mama on a mission helps our planet be the nourishing home we desire for all of our children.
I dream big and I expect you to dream big, too.
Okay. Let's come back down to earth here... I get a little excited about this stuff. Here's a sweet candid moment of me with my daughters, Laila (my loving, sensitive, always curious six-year-old who's happy to ham it up for a picture any day) and Flannery (my three-year-old pixie of joy, wonder, & cuddles who generally refuses to EVER look at the camera ;), & my husband, Damian (my soulmate and partner in parenting crime. Hee-hee).
