Are you willing to save yourself first?
When you realize that you are here to save yourself first you begin to tend so lovingly, so devotedly to your own heart, your own mind, your own body, your own spirit.
And it's through this tending that you become the full expression of the medicine you were born to be in this life. It's through this tending that you become the woman you've strived to be all of these years.
Women are so afraid to tend to themselves.
We've been taught it's selfish, indulgent, even sinful. We've been taught that if we let ourselves shine that we're taking up too much space. That we won't be accepted. That we won't be safe.
What if the very safety, acceptance, and healing you're so hungry for can only be found in YOUR empowered choice to nourish the home that is yours and yours alone?
Tend to your own body, mind, and spirit now, with unconditional love and compassion.
And then, from this space of self-love and devotion, see how you automatically become the woman, sister, daughter, partner, mother, friend, leader, and change maker you've been striving and struggling to be.
I have strived and struggled for long enough.
I am ready to arrive here, now with the self-love and compassion that will set me free.
This is the way to become the living embodiment of the medicine I was born to be. I need this now. Our people need this now. Our planet needs this now.
Imagine what would be possible if we all chose to save ourselves first?
With warmth & light,
P.S. So I'm basically hugging a tree in the picture at the top of this post. ;) That's because I've come to fully embrace that some of the big medicine I need right now is to be in the woods completely unplugged as much as I can be. Not only is this healing for me, it's also where I find my greatest inspiration, creativity, and courage to speak (and sing) my truth.
Let me know in the comments below what medicine you're being asked to give to yourself.
And please make a commitment to do so! The world is waiting and the time is now!
P.P.S. I'll be sharing something with you next week that has taken mighty courage for me to come to. I'm both afraid and thrilled to send this to you... HINT: I'll be SINGING my truth to you then!
