Remembering THIS will make all the difference
As you enter the weekend with your family, open up to the possibility of remembering how to come home to yourself, your power, your sense of calm confidence, and inner trust that was once so strong when you were a young child. If you're with young children this weekend, maybe even observe and follow their lead.
Right now, take a moment today to remember a "Golden Moment" in your early childhood.
Maybe a memory where you were totally immersed in play, childlike wonder, and adventure... Maybe a moment where you felt so grounded, calm, and confident in yourself... Maybe a moment where you felt wrapped up in the arms of love... Or maybe a moment where your curiosity trumped any fear...
For me, a golden moment in my childhood that I can always tap into when I want to remember my power, my place on this earthly plain, and the oneness that I'm a part of, is my time on the rocky coast of Maine playing endlessly with my little brother.
My grandmother had a home by the sea and my brother and I played for hours uninterrupted, capturing crabs, sea urchins, and star fish... Creating a home and world for ourselves on the warm rocks that were kissed by the sun...
Those moments were golden for me. I didn't question my place in the world. I KNEW my value. I knew that I belonged here in this life. I knew that I was here to fully embrace the magic, joy, and beauty of this world that I'm simply a part of...
As we get older it's easy to forget all of this. We are programmed and conditioned to question ourselves, to doubt, to criticize, to play small.
We start believing the stories we've been told about who we SHOULD BE instead of tuning into the quieter truth of who we are.
I believe that one of our great tasks as adults is to REMEMBER what we knew as children.
That we are inherently worthy. We are inherently good. We are inherently A PART of something greater than ourselves.
And who are we? We are always becoming, growing, learning... We are ever-changing and once we're at greater peace with that, we're more free to BE in the moment.
SOME INQUIRY FOR TODAY:
What is a golden moment you can remember from your childhood?
What feelings are you ready to come home to within yourself?
And what will this simple remembering of your innate power, innate value, and innate belonging DO FOR YOU?
Who do you get to be, what do you get to do when you embody this remembrance?
I'm so excited to be in touch next week with big personal news of my own and some beautiful opportunities for you, too. Until then!
With warmth & light,
