As your Family Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition, lifestyle, parenting, and wellness advice to determine what changes are necessary for you and your family. Together, you and I will build a practical and easy-to-follow plan for your family's well-being.
As a client of my Nourished Family health coaching program, you will:
- set and accomplish goals in a way that is empowering to you and your family
- understand your children’s emotional and physical health concerns and explore natural, simple and fun methods to reduce issues related to weight, mood, and behavior
- help your children feel great in their bodies and improve self-esteem
- learn about new foods and how you can easily incorporate them into your family’s diet
- teach your children self-care practices that they will bring into adulthood
- enrich family relationships through greater connectedness and more time for fun and meaningful shared experiences
- learn how to set family life at a pace that honors your children’s developmental needs as well as your needs as a parent
- discover the confidence and tools to create the home environment and family life you are seeking to best nourish and support the whole family
Your Nourished Family program includes:
- two 50-minute sessions per month in which we work on your personal goals for your children's health and family life
- e-mail support between sessions
- whole foods recipes for snacks and meals that are kid friendly and easy to fit into your daily and weekly routines
- meal plan suggestions and templates to make family meal preparation simple and stress-free
- strategies to involve your partner and/or children in meal preparation - when the whole family is involved they are more likely to eat new foods and feel ownership in the process
- support in developing a larger vision for your family, including a mission statement, values, priorities, and goals that will help you create and sustain the home life you want to nurture happy, healthy kids
- easy step-by-step strategies to simplify the home environment and family life so that they better fit your vision for your family, and in turn, better nourish your children and their longterm development
- informative and simple handouts that will support your efforts to simplify the home and nourish your children
